Summary

I find Louisa to be one of the most annoying characters ever written。 The first 40% of this book I was struggling because every decision she made was sooooo dumb。 But you know what? Can’t lie。 Was into at the end。 Lmao I’m garbage。

。。。more

I didn’t exactly finish this book but I did find out what happened in the end。I loved the beginning and was exited that Lou had gotten a job somewhere she loved, I found that this book tended to drag on… If you want to read the books the first two are great, but this would be optional!

The writing is good and I like Louisa as a character。 I just don’t understand what the point of having a trilogy was。

Really enjoyable read, even though I could remember essentially nothing from the second book in this series! Book 3 finds Louisa in New York, with a new job, and a long distance boyfriend at home。 There are plenty of plot twists in this book, and plenty of characters that are really not very nice! Engaging, with no dull moments, which is quite a feat for such a long book。

This was the best of the three I read。 Nice pacing, nice twists。 Good ending。 Couldn't wait to pick it up each day。 This was the best of the three I read。 Nice pacing, nice twists。 Good ending。 Couldn't wait to pick it up each day。 。。。more

I can’t help but love her。 She’s so fab。 And following her on her journey, has given me lots of tears - happy and sad! This book highlights heart-break, family dramas, friendships, finding yourself, grieving and so much more。 It was just so beautiful。 The friendships in this book alone。 Margot 😩 and that ending。 Honestly my heart melted。 I couldn’t believe the letters and just all of it ❤️ my heart felt so full。 I’m emotional that it’s over but I secretly hope we may have a part 4 one day。 I’m going to watch the film of Me Before You and most likely cry。 😂 。。。more

Another fantastic Lou Clark story! Find myself as her biggest cheerleader and this book was no different。 Bloody brilliant!

This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers。 To view it, click here。 I’m happy that Lou got her happy ending。 It’s a shame that it took her losing on several occasions for her to see her own worth, but this is how life works for some people and I certainly can’t cast the first stone。 It was the happy ending I think we all suspected to end up with, although almost convenient to a fault。 I also expected Agnes and Louisa to have at least one more conversation in the end instead of the small exchange of smirks when all secrets had been revealed。 But as a reader, I ca I’m happy that Lou got her happy ending。 It’s a shame that it took her losing on several occasions for her to see her own worth, but this is how life works for some people and I certainly can’t cast the first stone。 It was the happy ending I think we all suspected to end up with, although almost convenient to a fault。 I also expected Agnes and Louisa to have at least one more conversation in the end instead of the small exchange of smirks when all secrets had been revealed。 But as a reader, I can only imagine the conversation that never occurred。 By far, Me Before You reigns as the best among the trilogy, but it was redemption to read through to the end。 Thank you Moyes。 。。。more

Lou travels from London to New York to be employed by the Gopniks。 Thrust into New York’s elite society and its idiosyncrasies, Lou takes her job seriously and is subsequently changed by the new people she meets and those already a part of her old life In London。 We see the Lou we’ve known all along emerge in the difficult choices as she finally wears those stripy bumblebee tights with pride and embraces Will’s final wish, “Live boldly, Clark。” 。。。 Honestly a charming, wonderful finish。 Good for Lou travels from London to New York to be employed by the Gopniks。 Thrust into New York’s elite society and its idiosyncrasies, Lou takes her job seriously and is subsequently changed by the new people she meets and those already a part of her old life In London。 We see the Lou we’ve known all along emerge in the difficult choices as she finally wears those stripy bumblebee tights with pride and embraces Will’s final wish, “Live boldly, Clark。” 。。。 Honestly a charming, wonderful finish。 Good for you Louisa Clark。 I loved the trilogy and its characters。 。。。more

The British humor is divine。 This book was a welcome reprieve for me。 I found solace in the predictability and clever dialogue。 A nice alternative to the desired mental checkout of a Netflix and chill。A rom com of novels。 Which seems to align with Moyes writing style, as "The Letter from Your Last Lover" based on her novel, will premier in July and I look forward to seeing her witty, sexy writing come to life and will certainly look for more of her books at the library。 The British humor is divine。 This book was a welcome reprieve for me。 I found solace in the predictability and clever dialogue。 A nice alternative to the desired mental checkout of a Netflix and chill。A rom com of novels。 Which seems to align with Moyes writing style, as "The Letter from Your Last Lover" based on her novel, will premier in July and I look forward to seeing her witty, sexy writing come to life and will certainly look for more of her books at the library。 。。。more

I LOVED the conclusion to this trilogy。 Luisa Clark has finally decided to go to New York and make a life of her own。 As she makes her way there she has ups and downs, and starts to lose herself。 but as she continues to grow and life around her changes, she learns she is "still me" and what that actually means。This was funny and frustrating and tender all at the same time。 The characters were beautifully written and I want to meet them all。 I was hoping there would be another one to continue whe I LOVED the conclusion to this trilogy。 Luisa Clark has finally decided to go to New York and make a life of her own。 As she makes her way there she has ups and downs, and starts to lose herself。 but as she continues to grow and life around her changes, she learns she is "still me" and what that actually means。This was funny and frustrating and tender all at the same time。 The characters were beautifully written and I want to meet them all。 I was hoping there would be another one to continue where this leaves off, but everything calls this a trilogy。 I'll miss you Luisa Clark! 。。。more

i don’t think anything could’ve topped me before you so i just wanna start by saying that of course still me isn’t like me before you。 in saying that it’s still really good。 it made me laugh, it made me feel nervous for the characters and i cheered at lou’s ending。 the setting adds a new twist to the story and keeps it fresh and exciting and i found it very appropriate。 overall it was just really good and i’m glad lou got her happy ending。

A fun and somewhat inspiring book。 This manages to better escape from the shadow of the beginning of the series, and is instead just a fairly charming story about a girl starting over in a new city, trying to build a life and an identity away from the place that she came from, with the requisite cliché-but-satisfying twists and turns in the romantic subplot。

Thea Moyle

i thought it was pretty predictable but i just love the louisa clark story

Patti

Just as cheezy as the last time and worth the re-read every time

3。5 starsThis book was quite wholesome! It was a nice end to a fun trilogy, and though I have to say it was a very different book to the first, it was still an enjoyable and quick read。 This follows Lou's journey after her move to New York to be an assistant/friend to the Gopnik family。 It was nice seeing Lou's growth as a person, but ultimately stick to her true self, and I was very satisfied with her choice of partner in the end。 There were some sections I found a little boring and there were 3。5 starsThis book was quite wholesome! I like this book and the two that preceded it。 I enjoy the main character, Louisa Clarke。 Sometimes I do get a bit tired of her lack of insight into herself。 How is that the men around her see her better than she sees herself? She is kind and giving, but sometimes it feels that this happens without her knowing that she cares for others? Is that possible。 If there were a fourth book in this trilogy, i would want to read it。

Fun to get back to a favourite character。 Quite an easy read。 Quite predictable。 Perfect beach read。
